Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Velox, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Velox is an AI website builder. We give you the tools to generate, edit, publish, and host websites on Velox-owned surfaces under a Velox subdomain or a custom domain you connect.

We host the sites you build with Velox. When you export code from Velox, that exported code is yours — you can self-host it anywhere.

We may add, remove, or change features over time. If a change is material, we'll try to give you reasonable notice (in-app banner or email).

3. Accounts

When you sign up, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself and to keep that information up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials safe. Use a strong password and don't share it. Velox staff will never ask for your password.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Velox to: publish illegal content; distribute malware, phishing pages, or other harmful software; infringe someone else's intellectual property; send unsolicited bulk messages (spam); harass, defraud, or impersonate other people; or attempt to copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Velox service to build a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If a violation is illegal, we may also report it to the appropriate authorities.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Velox offers paid plans with monthly or annual billing. All subscription payments are processed by Stripe Connect on our behalf — we never see or store your full card details.

The price and renewal cadence of your subscription are the ones you chose at checkout. Prices are listed in US dollars.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Failed payments: if a renewal fails, Stripe retries and we email you. If we can't collect after a reasonable retry window, we pause your subscription until payment is resolved.

6. Refund policy

New subscriptions: you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge, no questions asked.

Per-purchase credits and discount codes are non-refundable once used.

To request a refund, email us at the address at the bottom of this page with the email tied to your account. We process refunds within a few business days and Stripe returns the funds to your original payment method.

If we suspend your account for a Terms violation, fees already paid are generally non-refundable.

7. Intellectual property

Velox retains ownership of the platform itself: the Velox brand, the editor interface, the AI pipelines, the templates, and all underlying code that powers the service.

You retain ownership of the content you create in Velox: the copy you write, the assets you upload, the designs you make, and any media generated through our tools.

When you export code from Velox, that exported code is yours. Use it, modify it, sell it, host it anywhere.

You give us a limited license to host your generated sites on Velox surfaces so the service works as expected (we need this to display your site to visitors and to back it up).

8. AI-generated content

Velox uses AI to generate copy, layouts, and design suggestions. AI output is provided "as is" — it may not be accurate, suitable for a particular purpose, or compliant with every industry’s rules.

Review everything before you publish. The final responsibility for what goes on the websites you ship is yours, not ours.

Avoid prompting the AI to impersonate real people, generate deceptive or harmful content, or produce anything illegal.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously violate these Terms, if payments fail repeatedly despite our attempt to resolve them, or if we are required to do so by law.

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard settings or by emailing us.

When an account is closed, we delete your personal data according to our Privacy Policy. Backups may take a short time to fully purge.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Velox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do our best to keep the service reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free output, or that AI-generated content will be free of mistakes.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Velox is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $100 if you've never paid us). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Velox is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Velox grows. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes, we'll give you reasonable notice (in-app banner or email).

If you keep using Velox after the new Terms take effect, that counts as acceptance. If you disagree, you can cancel your subscription and close your account.
